Strengthening Tile Installations for India’s Demanding Construction Environments
As tile formats grow larger and architectural designs become more complex, the performance expectations from tile adhesives have increased significantly. Modern construction environments expose installations to heavy loads, moisture, thermal variation, and structural movement factors that often lead to tile failures, particularly in exterior walls and high-traffic areas. Addressing these challenges, Walplast Products Pvt. Ltd. has introduced HomeSure TileEx EX 344 W and HomeSure TileEx EX 456 W, two white cementitious tile adhesives engineered for durability and long-term performance.
The new additions strengthen Walplast’s HomeSure range by delivering superior bonding strength, flexibility, and standards-compliant performance across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
HomeSure TileEx EX 344 W is engineered for exterior wall applications where durability and environmental resistance are critical. The highly polymerised adhesive offers water resistance, slip resistance, flexibility, and extended open time, enabling improved workability and placement accuracy on site. It is suitable for ceramic, vitrified, porcelain, glass mosaic, clay, basalt, and natural stone tiles and can be used across dry and wet areas. Built with high-end polymers and graded fillers, the adhesive provides strong bonding and shock resistance, making it suitable for exterior concrete and plaster substrates exposed to varying weather conditions.
Complementing this, HomeSure TileEx EX 456 W is engineered with enhanced deformability and flexibility to absorb movement and withstand heavy loads without compromising tile stability. It is designed for high-stress environments such as heavy foot traffic zones, vibration-prone areas, and exterior installations. Its polymer-modified formulation delivers superior tensile and shear strength along with slip resistance, ensuring stable tile fixing even under demanding conditions. The adhesive supports the installation of all tile types and sizes—including glass tiles, natural stones, and artificial stones—across vertical and horizontal surfaces and a wide range of substrates.
Both products offer controlled water demand, extended pot life, and longer working time, helping contractors improve productivity while ensuring consistent application quality. Available in 20 kg packs, they are designed for ease of handling and reliable on-site performance.
With these launches, Walplast reinforces its commitment to performance-driven solutions that address real site challenges. The expanded HomeSure TileEx portfolio offers contractors, developers, and architects greater confidence in achieving durable, high-quality tile installations across demanding environments.
